I was born and grown up in Braunschweig (Germany). After finishing school with the german “A level”, I worked as a pattern maker in Wolfsburg for a few years.
In 2005 I moved to Berlin to study metal engineering at the TU-Berlin. During that time the idea of becoming a guitar maker appears more and more. So my way brought me to the International School of Guitarmaking (Newark-Sherwood-College) in England where my studies begun in 2009.
I was trained under the guidance of James Lister, Malachy Brady as well as Adrian Lucas.
After graduating the course with honors, I moved back to Berlin and set up my own workshop.
From 2012 to 2014 my workshop was based in Dortmund in the studio house “Alter Kiosk”.
In October 2014 I moved back to Berlin and set up my workshop in the center of Berlin.
